The Hill at Whitemarsh was pleased to donate 420 pounds of food collected during a community food drive held in December of 2008. The items collected were donated to Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization. Philabundance is a not-for-profit working to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations serving people in need. The Hill at Whitemarsh is very active in the community and welcomed the opportunity to contribute. The food donated by The Hill at Whitemarsh went to feed many hungry men, women, and children in the Philabundance Network.
