On April 29th, Dr. Aine Donovan, Executive Director of The Ethics Institute of Dartmouth College, spoke to a crowded audience of 100+ residents in The Hill at Whitemarsh’s Great Room. After an hour and a half of keeping the record sized audience mesmerized with the topic “Honor In This Age of Uncertainty”, Dr. Donovan delivered the final “gotcha” with a simple adage, “ Our grandchildren, today, now look up to their grandparents as role models, displacing fathers who are no longer close to the top or even on the list”. Can you imagine how this fact won over her captivated audience?
Dr. Donovan is one of the country's authority's on ethics, honor and integrity and has written several books. She is currently working on a new book, Restructuring Honor.
