On August 19th, Dr. Bruce R. Guile, Managing Director of the Washington Advisory Group, spoke to a group of Hill residents about KAUST. King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) opened in Saudi Arabia as an international, graduate-level research university dedicated to inspiring a new age of scientific achievement in the Kingdom, in the region, and around the globe. Dr. Guile’s most recent project is the establishment of KAUST – including the design, recruitment of faculty and graduate students for this coeducational enterprise. Dr. Guile’s doctorate is from the University of California (Berkeley), MA from the University of Michigan, and BA from Heidelberg.
