Hugh Moulton’s early years were spent in Wellesley Hills outside of Boston. He moved to the Philadelphia area after Law School. Hugh is a graduate of Amherst College, Yale Law School and Harvard Business School Advance Management Program. His career began as an attorney for Montgomery McCracken Walker and Rhoads. From there, he moved to Alco Standard Corporation as Secretary, General Counsel, and then Executive Vice President. In 1996, he moved to Unisource as Executive Vice President.
Besides serving as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees at The Hill at Whitemarsh, Hugh has been involved extensively in community affairs. He was a founding member and presently serves as President and Chair of the Whitemarsh Foundation, a member of the Advisory Committee for both Natural Lands Trust and Carson Valley Children’s Aid, and as a Trustee for Arcadia University where he previously served as Chair. He has also served in various capacities on the Board of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. Hugh also serves as a Trustee Emeritus for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Nature Conservancy where he previously was Chair.
Hugh and Katie have two children, H. Geoffrey Moulton, Jr, and Cynthia Bassett, and four grandchildren.
