Letter from Our CEO Corey J. Evans

We have truly hit the ground running this year. We have focused on several important initiatives, most notably, obtaining our recertification from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

CARF is an independent organization that evaluates health and human service providers to ensure they meet rigorous standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness. The Hill underwent a comprehensive review of its services, operations, and outcomes, and has been recognized as meeting or exceeding these standards—a testament to the unwavering commitment to excellence within our community. As a result, we successfully secured a five-year reaccreditation.

The Hill has also received the Age-Friendly Health System designation from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. This recognition affirms our dedication to caring for older adults through the 4Ms: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. These principles guide our daily operations, ensuring the well-being and the highest quality of life for our residents.

On the development front, I am excited to share that construction is well underway on our 5400 Hawk Ridge building. Our goal is to have the structure weather-tight by June, and we are looking forward to welcoming new residents by the end of the year.

Finally, we are pleased to introduce an Early Access Program for prospective Hill residents. Currently available to those on our waitlist, this exclusive program offers future residents an opportunity to become familiar with our community, enjoy our amenities, and receive priority consideration for residence selection prior to their official move-in.

These achievements reinforce that The Hill at Whitemarsh continues to set the standard as the premier retirement community in our area.

Sincerely,

Corey J. Evans
